There are some products that are impossible to pass by indifferently. They catch the eye, make you dizzy, delight you... They are unusual, original, distinctive products. Such products at HARTMANN TRESORE are the premium line of safes and Signature Safes by Hartmann. Home safes for storing jewellery can be metal and grey, but they can also complement the interior design and even be the 'icing on the cake', the focal point of the room in which they are placed. So, if you like unusual solutions and beautiful objects – a jewellery safe designed according to your instructions and tailor-made will be a synergy of security and noble form. How do we make such safes? What have we already designed and made for our customers? You can find out more about this by delving into the text below – you are welcome to do so.

Burglar-proof safes for storing jewellery

Jewellery is one of those things that requires specific and robust protection against unauthorised access and the risk of theft (due to its material as well as sentimental value). If you store your jewellery at home, then locking and securing your collection in a safe is the most sensible solution. But a safe is not equal to a safe. Before deciding on which model to build your dream jewellery storage safe on, please know that the value of your collection matters when it comes to the burglary resistance class assigned to the safe.

This property is an overriding function – in general: the higher the security class of the safe, the more robust, heavier the safe is – meaning it is harder to get into and harder to take it out.

Jewellery safes – safety classes for safes

No two safes are the same. HARTMANN TRESORE offers safes in a variety of sizes and security classes. They can be used to store jewellery and other valuables - from the structurally simplest models (class S1) to robust safes in class V.

What are the differences between these safes? Below you will find a brief comparison of the individual safety classes of safes:

• class S1 according to EN 14450 – these safes have a single-walled body, made of 3 mm thick sheet metal, while the door is double-walled,

• S2 class according to this standard – the body in these safes is already double-walled, the door is also double-walled,

• from the class N (0) to the class V according to EN 1143-1 – safes of these classes have multi-walled doors and multi-walled bodies. The different levels of resistance are achieved, among other things, by the amount of filling material used between the sheet metal shells and its type (including special concrete mixtures).

Interior of a jewellery safe – examples of workmanship

We have already made many safes in accordance with our customers' visions and ideas. They combine security with a modern and timeless design. Based on previous realisations, know that following items can be placed inside safes:

Veneered or solid wood furniture in any colour and dyeing

The beauty of the safe from the outside involves the possibility of varnishing it with a car varnish (in any RAL colour, high gloss, pearl effect, matt effect), veneering the safe with any graphics. The inside can also be lacquered, but a custom-made piece of furniture that will fill the interior of the safe to create a coherent whole looks beautiful.

Noble material in the interior

Instead of veneer or wood, the interior can be upholstered in fabric: velvet, alcantara or even natural leather. Chrome or glass elements (drawer fronts, shelves) can be incorporated.

Drawers, dividers in the safe

Drawers can be lined with a soft material: velvet or alcantara in the colour of your choice. Such drawers can additionally be fitted with special inserts and compartments for individual pieces of jewellery, e.g. palettes for rings, compartments for necklaces or cushions for watches.

Watch winders

Automatic watches cannot lie "idle", they should be in constant motion. Placing the watch in a watch winder, which simulates the movement of the wrist, allows it to "live" by giving it the appropriate rate of winding when you happen to be wearing another model at the moment.

Illuminating the inside of the safe

The illumination of the safe's interior by means of a LED strip is a complement and the proverbial icing on the cake. The interior fittings are well illuminated and exposed every time the safe is opened.

If you are looking for inspiration – many photos of realisations of custom-made safes can be found on our website. We invite you to take a look at these realisations. Each product can be modified and tailored to your needs. The perfect combination – security and functionality encapsulated in a personalised product.

Jewellery cash-box – which safe lock to choose?

The recommended locks for premium jewellery safes are:

electronic PIN code locks – battery powered. You can open the safe using a combination of buttons on the keypad.

• combination locks – need neither mains nor battery power, which is an environmentally friendly solution. To open the safe, you need to use the knob and set it to a specific position on the dial (the right combination of numbers).

biometric locks – a noiseless system of entering a 'code' by putting your finger on the reader.

Choose the lock that best suits your needs and is easiest to use.

Summary

Jewellery enhances our style and complements our styling, but at the same time it represents a financial and just as often an emotional value. To keep your valuables protected, consider investing in a jewellery safe. Safes provide excellent protection against theft, as well as protecting our valuables from damage and allowing us to store them in an orderly manner.

Jewellery safes are an investment in security and peace of mind. When choosing the right model, it is worth paying attention to its parameters, level of security and, above all, customisation. It is not only practical, but also an elegant and beautiful solution for jewellery lovers concerned about the safety of their treasures.
